Important game to mention about took place in Hangzhou. Eighth ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (12-11) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 10th ranked Bayi Rockets (11-13) 94-91 on Sunday evening. Bayi Rockets were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank outrebounded Bayi Rockets 44-32 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Quincy Douby (191-84, college: Rutgers) fired 34 points (!!!) for the winners. International JinHui Ding (204-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. The former international forward Lei Wang (203-86) produced 29 points and 5 rebounds and the former international center ZhiZhi Wang (215-77) added 21 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Bayi Rockets players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Liaoning H. and DongGuan L. Bayi Rockets lost their third game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 13 games lost. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank will face Shanghai Sharks (#15) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bayi Rockets will play against DongGuan Leopards (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
