Regular Season Round 15: Elitzur Netanya - Maccabi R.Hen 75-71

Bottom-ranked Elitzur Netanya managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the series of three consecutive loses. This time they won against fourth-ranked Maccabi Ramat Hen 75-71. Elitzur Netanya players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for American forward Courtney Hurt (185-90, college: VCU) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Jamaican-American point guard Maurita Reid (173-85, college: Miami, FL) contributed with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Khadijah Rushdan (175-88, college: Rutgers, agency: LBM Management) answered with 20 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import point guard Ivory Latta (168-84, college: N.Carolina) added 15 points in the effort for Maccabi Ramat Hen. Elitzur Netanya (4-9) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with H.R. Le-Zion. Maccabi Ramat Hen lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Ramat Hasharon and Hap.Petah Tikva. Elitzur Netanya will play against bottom-ranked Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (#9) on the road in the next round. Maccabi Ramat Hen will play against Galil Elion (#7) in Kfar Blum and hopes to get back on the winning track.
