No shocking result in a game when first ranked Ravens (13-1) beat one of their biggest challengers Gee-Gees (11-3) in Ottawa, ON 63-58 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 35-24 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for the former international forward Tyson Hinz (198-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. Forward Thomas Scrubb (196) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Johnny Berhanemeskel (185) replied with 16 points and the former international guard Warren Ward (196-89) added 6 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Gee-Gees. Ravens have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-1 record which they share with defeated Gee-Gees. Gee-Gees at the other side still keep top place with three games lost. Ravens will face Lions (#6) in Toronto, ON in the next round where they are favorite. Gee-Gees will play at home against Voyageurs (#5) in Sudbury, ON.
