Undefeated leader Grodno-93 delivered the sixteenth consecutive victory on Friday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Svisloch (4-12) 87-66. The game was mostly controlled by Grodno-93. Svisloch managed to win fourth quarter 22-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Grodno-93 forced 20 Svisloch turnovers. It was a great evening for swingman Igor Konuyshenko (196-86) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points. The former international swingman Uladzimir Charko (200-74) helped adding 11 points and 5 rebounds. Four Grodno-93 players scored in double figures. Grodno-93's coach Andrei Vasileuka felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Ukrainian forward Maks Adam Konate (200-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and guard Ilya Sharipov (198-91) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Grodno-93 (16-0) have an impressive series of sixteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 16 victories in a row. Svisloch at the other side keeps the sixth position with 12 games lost. Grodno-93 will meet Rubon (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Svisloch will play against Impuls BGUIR in Minsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
