Regular Season Round 25: TRU - Victoria 64-81

Rather predictable result in Kamloops, BC where second ranked Vikies (10-5) defeated 4th placed Wolfpack (6-10) 81-64 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Vikies. Wolfpack was better in third quarter 25-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Terrell Evans stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and Kyle Peterson chipped in 8 points and 7 assists. At the losing side Blaz Bozinovic responded with 8 points and 12 rebounds and Zach Usherwood scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Vikies. They maintain second place with 10-5 record having four points less than leader Cape Breton. Wolfpack lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost. Vikies will have a break next round. Wolfpack will play again at home against the league's second-placed Vikies (#2) in Victoria, BC.
