Regular Season Round 26: Carleton - Laurentian 90-66

Date: January 26, 2013
Rather predictable result in Ottawa, ON where first ranked Ravens (15-1) outscored 5th ranked Voyageurs (8-7) 90-66 on Saturday. The game without a history. Ravens led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Ravens outrebounded Voyageurs 38-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Tyson Hinz (198-91) who scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. The former international guard Philip Scrubb (190-92) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Alex Ratte produced 25 points and 5 rebounds and guard Manny Pasquale (183) added 20 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ravens have an impressive 15-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 15-1 record. Loser Voyageurs dropped to the third place with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
