There was no surprise when 12th ranked Rosa Radom (3-15) was outplayed on the road by fifth ranked Trefl Sopot (12-6) 90-59 on Saturday. The game without a history. Trefl Sopot led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Trefl Sopot forced 20 Rosa Radom turnovers. The former international forward Filip Dylewicz (202-80) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Frank Turner (178-88, college: Canisius, agency: Court Side) chipped in 11 points and 8 assists during the contest. Four Trefl Sopot players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Piotr Kardas (182-78) with 8 points and point guard Jakub Zalewski (183-86) scored 7 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Trefl Sopot moved-up to third place, which they share with Anwil and Asseco Prok. Rosa Radom lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. Trefl Sopot will face Energa Czarni (#7) in Slupsk in the next round. Rosa Radom will play at home against Start Gdynia (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
