Regular Season Round 26: St.Mary's - UPEI 90-73

There was a surprise result in Halifax, NS where seventh ranked Huskies (4-9) won against second-ranked Panthers (8-4) 90-73 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Huskies. Panthers was better in third quarter 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Huskies shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 53.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Panthers' players. The best player for the winners was Jordan Lee who scored 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Nigerian guard Harry Ezenibe (190-87) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Huskies players scored in double figures. Huskies' coach Jonah Taussig allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Terrence Brown (186) produced 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Lorenzo Parker added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Huskies moved-up to sixth place, which they share with New Brunsw. Loser Panthers dropped to the third position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
