A very interesting game took place in Quebec City, QC. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Gaiters (6-4) to fifth ranked Rouge et Or (3-7) 69-67 on Saturday evening. Gaiters were ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 21-17 charge of Rouge et Or, which allowed them to win the game. Thibaud Dezutter notched 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and naturalized Bosnian forward Boris Hadzimuratovic (204-91, college: High School) supported him with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Four Rouge et Or players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by center Mike Andrews (208) did not help to save the game for Gaiters. Forward Jeremy Leonard-Smith (193) added 9 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Rouge et Or maintains fifth position with 3-7 record. Gaiters at the other side keep the second place with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
