An interesting game took place in Levallois where higher ranked Paris-Levallois (10-7) was upset on its own court by twelfth ranked Chorale de Roanne (8-9) 87-71. The game was mostly controlled by Chorale de Roanne. Paris-Levallois was better in third quarter 17-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Chorale de Roanne especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. Naturalized Cameroonian power forward Victor Samnick (203-79, college: Georgetown) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 6 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). American power forward Coleman Collins (206-86, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 9 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Antoine Diot (191-89) answered with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and American forward Sean May (206-84, college: N.Carolina) added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Paris-Levallois. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Chorale de Roanne moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Cholet and Dijon. Paris-Levallois at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Chorale de Roanne's next round opponent will be higher ranked Le Mans (#4) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Paris-Levallois will play against the league's leader Gravelines-Dunkerque and will have a slim chance for a victory.
