Regular Season Round 17: Le Mans - Strasbourg 73-85

The most interesting game of round 17 in the ProA was a home defeat of second-ranked Le Mans (11-6) to first ranked Strasbourg IG (12-5) 85-73. It ended the four-game winning streak of Le Mans. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Strasbourg IG led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Le Mans' 30. Strasbourg IG looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Louis Campbell (190-79, college: Buffalo, agency: Pro One Sports) stepped up and scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and American-Dominican swingman Ricardo Greer (197-78, college: Pittsburgh) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Strasbourg IG players scored in double figures. International forward Charles Kahudi (197-86, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 15 points and swingman Pape Sy (201-88) scored 15 points. Strasbourg IG have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-5 record, which they share with Gravelines.
