Rather expected game when 6th ranked Kyoto Hannar. (14-13) was rolled over on the road by fourth ranked Fukuoka Rizing (17-10) 95-71 on Saturday. The game without a history. Fukuoka Rizing led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Fukuoka Rizing outrebounded Kyoto Hannar. 39-28 including 33 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. The game was also dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Josh Peppers (201-85, college: Cent.Florida, agency: Court Side) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida, agency: Top Notch Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Five Fukuoka Rizing players scored in double figures. Fukuoka Rizing's coach Atsushi Kanazawa felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Marcus Cousin (211-86, college: Houston) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and guard Masaharu Kataoka (190-85) added 21 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) respectively for the guests. Fukuoka Rizing moved-up to third place, which they share with Toyama Grouses and Shimane SM. Loser Kyoto Hannar. keeps the sixth position with 13 games lost.
