There was no surprise when 11th ranked Helsingborg (4-11) was outplayed at home by fifth ranked Jarfalla (9-6) 83-64 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-64. Jarfalla dominated on the defensive end, holding Helsingborg to just 7 points in second quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of center Leonard Halling (200-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds and guard Jonas Schutser (180-95) who added 16 points and 6 assists during the contest. Five Jarfalla players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Niklas Sellin (197-91) responded with 20 points and guard Billy Andersson (193-89) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Jarfalla have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Jarfalla maintains fifth position in South with 9-6 record, which they share with Haga Haninge. Loser Helsingborg keeps the eleventh place with 11 games lost. Jarfalla will face Haga Haninge (#6) at home in the next round. Helsingborg will play against Sanda Basket (#12) in Huskvarna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
