There was no surprise in Sakiai where 10th ranked Meresta (14-14) was defeated by eighth ranked Zanavykas (16-10) 87-72 on Saturday. The game without a history. Zanavykas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Newly promoted Zanavykas maintains eighth position with 16-10 record. Meresta lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 14 games lost. Zanavykas will meet Gargzdai-Bremena (#17) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Meresta will play against Nafta Universitetas (#18) in Klaipeda and hope to secure a win.
