No shocking result in a game when second ranked Hapoel Eilat (10-5) defeated at home 10th ranked Galil Gilboa (5-10) 79-66. The game was mostly controlled by Hapoel Eilat. Galil Gilboa was better in second period 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Galil Gilboa 36-23 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for FYR Macedonian-American point guard Darius Washington (188-85, college: Memphis) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Scotty Hopson (200-89, college: Tennessee) accounted for 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. American point guard Kenny Hayes (188-87, college: Miami, OH, agency: Priority Sports) came up with 15 points and 6 assists and international center Yaniv Green (206-80, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Galil Gilboa in the defeat. Four Galil Gilboa players scored in double figures. Galil Gilboa's coach Lior Lubin rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
