The game in Anjo was also quite interesting. Second ranked Fujitsu RW (20-4) played at the court of 8th ranked Aishin Wings (8-16). Fujitsu RW defeated Aishin Wings 66-53 on Sunday. Aishin Wings were trailing by 9 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 26-12 charge of Fujitsu RW, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was international forward Moeko Nagaoka (180-93) who scored 20 points. The former international swingman Eri Nakahata (165-88) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. Four Fujitsu RW players scored in double figures. Forward Yuka Maeda (173-84) produced 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Koizumi Haruka (164-89) added 6 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fujitsu RW have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 20-4 record having four points less than leader Toyota B SR. Aishin Wings lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 16 games lost. Fujitsu RW will meet at home Toyota A. (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Aishin Wings will play against Niigata (#6) in Tokyo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
