A very interesting game took place in Caceres. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 10th ranked Leyma Basquet (6-10) to twelfth ranked Caceres Basket (7-9) 66-63 on Sunday evening. Caceres Basket forced 19 Leyma Basquet turnovers. American guard Braydon Hobbs (195-89, college: Bellarmine) fired 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. The other American import forward Antonio Pena (203-86, college: Villanova) chipped in 14 points. Ivorian-American forward Jonathan Kale (203-85, college: Providence) produced 18 points and Hungarian center Gergely Somogyi (216-89, college: UCSB) added 4 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Caceres Basket moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Leyma Basquet lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the twelfth position with ten games lost. Caceres Basket's next round opponent will be Planasa NV (#10) in Pamplona. Leyma Basquet will play at home against CB Clavijo in Logrono.
