Very important is a road loss of third ranked Malbas (10-6) against ninth ranked Talje Knights (7-7) on Sunday night. Visiting Malbas were defeated by Talje Knights in a tough game in Talje 66-71. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Malbas. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 71-66. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jesper Andersson (203-86) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 6 rebounds and guard Gustav Sundstrom (197-91) who added 21 points during the contest. At the losing side guard Kristoffer Gafor (194-92) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Jacob Magnusson (184-94) scored 18 points. Four Malbas players scored in double figures. Talje Knights moved-up to seventh place in South. Loser Malbas keep the third position with six games lost. Talje Knights will face league's second-placed Brahe Basket in Huskvarna in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
