There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Kyoto Hannar. (15-13) defeated on the road 4th ranked Fukuoka Rizing (17-11) 96-81 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Kyoto Hannar.. Fukuoka Rizing was better in fourth quarter 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fukuoka Rizing was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American center Marcus Cousin (211-86, college: Houston) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field).
