There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Virtus Cagliari (4-14) rolled over on the road higher ranked San Salvatore (7-11) 68-48 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 9 points at the halftime before their 44-15 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Virtus Cagliari dominated on the defensive end, holding San Salvatore to just 7 points in fourth quarter.
