Regular Season Round 27: Laurier - McMaster 65-90

There was no surprise in Waterloo, ON where 6th ranked Golden Hawks (4-12) were crushed by third ranked Marauders (9-7) 90-65 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Marauders led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Golden Hawks' 38. The best player for the winners was center Taylor Black (201) who scored 28 points and 8 rebounds. Center Nathan Mccarthy (203) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds. Four Marauders players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard William Coulthard (188) who recorded 28 points and guard Maxwell Allin (193) added 23 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Golden Hawks' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Marauders maintains third place with 9-7 record having six points less than leader Bishop's, which they share with Calgary and UFV. Golden Hawks lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
