No shocking result in a game when fifteenth ranked Fujian (9-18) beat bottom-ranked Shanghai Sharks (8-20) in Jinjiang 114-108. The hosts were already 16 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 39-29 Shanghai Sharks' run in the last quarter cut the lead to 114-108 at the end of the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Shanghai Sharks helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American center Will McDonald (211-79, college: S.Florida) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. International Zhelin Wang (215-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds.
