Regular Season Round 21: Znicz Basket - MOSiR Krosno 65-54

Another interesting game for Znicz Basket (11-10) which hosted in Pruszkow against 4th placed MOSiR Krosno (12-9). Eighth ranked Znicz Basket had an easy win 65-54. It looked good early as MOSiR Krosno took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Znicz Basket had a 18-10 second period charge getting the lead and MOSiR Krosno was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 54-65. MOSiR Krosno was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Dominik Czubek (178-75) stepped up and scored 18 points for the winners and forward Przemyslaw Szymanski (198-84) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Kamil Laczynski (180-89) with 12 points, 8 assists and 4 steals and forward Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-88) scored 5 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Znicz Basket have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. MOSiR Krosno at the other side dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Znicz Basket will play against Spojnia (#10) in Stargard in the next round. MOSiR Krosno will play at home against UMKS Kielce (#15) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
