Eighth-ranked LF Basket (9-14) made lots of trouble for second ranked Uppsala Basket (18-6). Uppsala Basket managed to secure only one-point victory 75-74. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 23-19. But LF Basket won second period 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Uppsala Basket made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. American swingman Lamarcus Reed (195-88, college: Texas Arlington) answered with 16 points and 7 rebounds and the former international center Johan Akesson (210-84, agency: Warren Sports International) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for LF Basket. Uppsala Basket have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 18-6 record having four points less than leader Sundsvall. LF Basket at the other side keeps the eighth position with 14 games lost. Uppsala Basket will play against Boras Basket (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. LF Basket will play against White Eagles (#10) in Stockholm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
