The game without a history. Spartans led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Spartans forced 22 Wolfpack turnovers and outrebounded them 46-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for guard Tonner Jackson (201) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Mark Perrin accounted for 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Five Spartans players scored in double figures. Blaz Bozinovic came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and guard Kevin Pribilsky (180) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for Wolfpack in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Spartans. They maintain fourth place with 8-9 record. Wolfpack lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 12 games lost. Spartans will have a break next round. Wolfpack will play again at home against Spartans (#4) in Langley, BC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
