Important game to mention about took place in Montreal, QC. First ranked Gaiters (8-4) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 4th placed Citadines (4-8) 75-74 on Saturday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-18. But Citadines won second period 18-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Jeremy Leonard-Smith (193) nailed 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and forward Matt McLean (203) accounted for 15 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Gaiters players scored in double figures. Forward Alexandre Bernard (196) came up with 31 points and 6 rebounds (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field) and forward Philippe Tamba added 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Citadines in the defeat. Gaiters maintains first place with 8-4 record. Citadines at the other side keep the fourth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
