Regular Season Round 17: Taby - LF Future 101-60

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Taby Basket as it allowed them to take a leadership position in North. Taby Basket smashed 4th placed LF Future at home 101-60. The game without a history. Taby Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to LF Future's 46. They outrebounded LF Future 36-22 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Taby Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by LF Future's players. The best player for the winners was swingman Erik Andersson (197-87) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Jon Jonsson (201-87, college: Oklah.Christian) chipped in 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Taby Basket players scored in double figures. point guard Adam Ronnqvist (181-90) produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and forward Jonathan Larsson (190-91) added 8 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. LF Future's coach Jim Enbom gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Taby Basket (14-2) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. LF Future at the other side dropped to the third place with four games lost. LF Future will play next round against Fryshuset trying to get back on the winning streak. Taby Basket will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Orongo Dragons in Sundsvall.
