JBL top team - Aishin Sea Horses (23-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Mitsubishi Dolphins (8-20) in Nagoya 85-63. The game without a history. Aishin Sea Horses led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Mitsubishi Dolphins' 34 and made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Aishin Sea Horses had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward J.R. Sakuragi (206-76, college: UCLA) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Jamaican center Kevin Young (206-84, college: Missouri) chipped in 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Aishin Sea Horses players scored in double figures. American forward Ron Hale (203-77, college: Florida St.) produced 18 points and 9 rebounds and the former international guard Kei Igarashi (180-80) added 13 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aishin Sea Horses maintains first position with 23-5 record. Mitsubishi Dolphins lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with 20 games lost. Aishin Sea Horses' next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Hokkaido L. (#8) in Saporro and are hoping to win another game. Mitsubishi Dolphins will play on the road against Toshiba Thunders in Kanagawa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
