Regular Season Round 17: Eskilstuna - Hogsbo 72-67

Everything went according to plan when eighth ranked Eskilstuna (8-9) won against at home 10th ranked Hogsbo (5-10) 72-67 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-17. But Hogsbo won second period 21-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Hogsbo 38-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Spanish forward Lluis Jacas (198-90) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Forward Daniel Urban (198-88) chipped in 9 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Markus Lenngren (196-83) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and Anton Brandt (-92) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Eskilstuna moved-up to seventh place in South. Hogsbo lost their third game in a row. They keep the tenth position with ten games lost. Eskilstuna will have a break next round. Hogsbo will play at home against Haga Haninge (#6).
