Regular Season Round 16: Nice - SIG 74-50

LF2 top team - Nice (15-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked SIG (8-8) 74-50. The game without a history. Nice led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Nice outrebounded SIG 50-38 including 36 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by SIG's players. The winners were led by guard Anads Deas (165-87) who scored that evening 15 points and 6 assists and forward Alexandra Tchangoue (180-85, college: Wake Forest) supported her with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Nice's coach Rachid Meziane felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 11 points and 8 rebounds by forward Bettina Kadila (186-90) did not help to save the game for SIG. Center Celine Schmitt-Sender (185-80) added 6 points and 14 rebounds for lost side. Nice have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 15-1 record. SIG at the other side keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. Nice will play against Limoges (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SIG will have a break next round.
