Regular Season Round 19: Siarka Jezioro - Polpharma 95-93

A very interesting game took place in Tarnobrzeg. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Polpharma (8-11) to ninth ranked Siarka Jezioro (7-12) 95-93 on Saturday evening. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Xavier Alexander (198-88, college: S.Nazarene) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Jakub Dloniak (192-83, agency: Promotex) accounted for 22 points for the winning side. American power forward Ben McCauley (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) came up with 30 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import point guard Jawan Carter (180-87, college: Delaware) added 19 points and 5 assists respectively for Polpharma in the defeat. Five Siarka Jezioro and four Polpharma players scored in double figures. Siarka Jezioro maintains ninth place with 7-12 record. Polpharma at the other side keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Siarka Jezioro's next round opponent will be higher ranked Asseco Prok. (#3) in Gdynia and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
