There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Virtus Cagliari (5-14) defeated at home 4th placed TEC-MAR Crema (12-7) 63-58 on Saturday. Virtus Cagliari forced 24 TEC-MAR Crema turnovers. Quite impressive performance for power forward Raffaella Costa (185-84) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Patrizia De Gianni (191-88) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Polish forward Magdalena Losi (173-80, agency: Promotex) answered with 16 points and forward Martina Picotti (181-90) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for TEC-MAR Crema.
