No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Paulistano (10-9) defeated on the road 13th ranked Joinville (8-10) 71-63 on Saturday. Joinville was trailing by 8 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 23-12 charge of Paulistano, which allowed them to win the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Paulistano made 12 blocks. Joinville was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch.
