The game between Top Four teams took place in Kashiwa. Leader host JX Sunflowers (25-0) defeated 4th placed Chanson V-M (18-7) 69-65. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Chanson V-M. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 69-65. It was a great evening for guard Aya Okamoto (161-91) who led her team to a victory scoring 24 points and 7 rebounds. The former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (191-91) helped adding 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four JX Sunflowers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Yuka Watanabe (181-81) with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international swingman Saori Fujiyoshi (178-87) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Chanson V-M's coach Isao Kimura rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. JX Sunflowers have an impressive series of twenty five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 25-0 record. Chanson V-M at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. JX Sunflowers are looking forward to face Toyota A. (#3) in Nagoya in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Chanson V-M will play at home against the league's second-placed Fujitsu RW in Kawasaki and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
