Rather expected game in Nagoya where 7th ranked Denso Iris (9-16) were defeated by fifth ranked Mitsubishi K. (17-8) 64-56 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 64-56. The best player for the winners was guard Yasuko Hashimoto (163-82) who scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Tamotsu Matsushima (160-87) chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was international forward Arisa Fujiwara (175-87) who recorded 21 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Yuri Ushida (181-89) added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Denso Iris' coach Hiroshi Kojima let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Mitsubishi K. maintains fifth place with 17-8 record.
