Very predictable result when seventh ranked Agrigento (12-9) defeated on the road 18th ranked Perugia (5-16) 87-80 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 28-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Agrigento forced 20 Perugia turnovers. It was a great evening for naturalized Argentinian forward Albano Chiarastella (196-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 11 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Vincenzo Di Viccaro (191-84) helped adding 21 points. Agrigento's coach Franco Ciani allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. point guard Giacomo Chiatti (183-86) responded with 13 points and 6 rebounds and center Paolo Chiarello (204-78) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds.
