Fifteenth-ranked Recanati (7-13) gave a tough game to ninth ranked Chieti (11-10). Chieti managed to secure only two-point victory 71-69. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 19-8. But Recanati won second period 22-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
