No shocking result in a game in Tianjin where seventh ranked DongGuan Leopards (16-13) defeated 14th ranked TianJin Steel (10-19) 92-82. The game without a history. DongGuan Leopards led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Blake Ahearn (188-84, college: Missouri St.) who led the winners and scored 26 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Marcus Haislip (208-80, college: Tennessee) accounted for 21 points for the winning side. American power forward Donnell Harvey (203-80, college: Florida) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and Jordanian guard Osama Daghles (198-79, college: Midwestern St.) added 9 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists respectively for TianJin Steel in the defeat. Four TianJin Steel players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. DongGuan Leopards moved-up to sixth place. TianJin Steel lost their eighth game in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 19 games lost. DongGuan Leopards' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Shandong Bulls in Jinan and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. TianJin Steel will play at home against the league's leader Guandong Tigers (#1) in Dongguan.
