Regular Season Round 23: Mirandola - Treviglio 75-62

There was an upset when higher ranked Treviglio (12-9) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Mirandola (9-12) 75-62 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Mirandola. Treviglio was better in second period 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for point guard Jordan Losi (182-80) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Luca Pignatti (195-86) helped adding 14 points and 8 rebounds. The former international power forward Riccardo Perego (203-81) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and forward Riccardo Pederzini (198-89) scored 18 points. Five Mirandola and four Treviglio players scored in double figures. Treviglio's coach Adriano Vertemati rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Mirandola moved-up to twelfth place. Loser Treviglio keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. Mirandola will face higher ranked Chieti (#8) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
