Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Tallinn: TTU (#4) and Tln Kalev (#8). Tln Kalev was smashed at home by 30 points 43-73 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The game without a history. TTU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Tln Kalev to just 6 points in first and second quarters and to 12 points in first half. TTU dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Tln Kalev's 24. TTU forced 19 Tln Kalev turnovers and outrebounded them 40-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. The former international forward Erik Keedus (198-90) notched 9 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and forward Kiur Akenparg (190-88) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Even 13 points and 4 assists by American-Italian guard Marc Campbell (180-86, college: N.Carolina) did not help to save the game for Tln Kalev. Nigerian-American forward Ike Okoye (206, college: Boise St.) added 9 points and 9 rebounds. Tln Kalev's coach Kalle Klandorf gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. TTU maintains fourth position with 11-9 record. Tln Kalev lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 16 games lost. TTU's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tallinn .
