Date: February 5, 2013
Rather expected game when 13th ranked Joinville (8-11) lost to eleventh ranked Minas (10-10) in Belo Horizonte 69-78 on Tuesday. Joinville trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 24-19 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 69-78 at the end of the game. It was a great shooting night for Minas especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Minas made 11 blocks. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Minas moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Liga Sorocaba.
