Twelfth-ranked Nassjo (5-21) made lots of trouble for sixth ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (16-8) on Tuesday. The visitors from Norrkoping managed to secure only three-point victory 91-88. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Nassjo. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Nassjo won fourth quarter 27-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Norrkoping Dolphins especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. The former international Christian Maraker (206-82, college: Pacific) scored 23 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American-British forward Oladapo Ayuba (198-86, college: UMKC) chipped in 18 points during the contest. Five Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures. Polish center Szymon Lukasiak (208-87, college: Jacksonville) responded with 26 points and 6 rebounds and American forward William Walker (200-87, college: Bethel, IN, agency: Warren Sports International) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Norrkoping Dolphins have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains sixth position with 16-8 record. Newly promoted Nassjo stay dead last with 21 lost games. They share the position with Eco Orebro and Eagles. Norrkoping Dolphins will meet at home league's second-placed Uppsala Basket in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Nassjo will play against LF Basket (#8) in Lulea and hope to secure a win.
