The game in Waterloo, ON was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Badgers (7-11) played at the court of 6th ranked Golden Hawks (5-13). Badgers defeated Golden Hawks 80-70. It looked good early as Golden Hawks took an 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Badgers had a 26-15 second period charge getting the lead and Golden Hawks were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 70-80. American guard Jameson Tipping (201, college: W.Kentucky) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Mike Luby (213) supported him with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks. Four Badgers players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists by guard Maxwell Allin (193) did not help to save the game for Golden Hawks. Guard Jamar Forde (190) added 20 points and 5 rebounds. Golden Hawks' coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Badgers maintains fourth position with 7-11 record. Golden Hawks at the other side dropped to the fifth place with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
