No shocking result in a game when third ranked Cascades (11-8) crushed 5th ranked Wolfpack (6-14) in Abbotsford, BC 92-66 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Cascades. Wolfpack was better in third quarter 27-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Cascades outrebounded Wolfpack 43-31 including 33 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Cascades looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Wolfpack's players. It was a very good performance for Kevon Parchment who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Kyle Grewal (198-88) contributed with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Kevin Pribilsky (180) answered with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Zach Usherwood added 6 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Wolfpack. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cascades maintains third place with 11-8 record having 0 points less than leader UBC. Wolfpack lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 14 games lost. Cascades will face again Wolfpack (#5) in Kamloops, BC in the next round.
