Regular Season Round 33: Gunma - Akita NH 78-86

Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Gunma (6-25) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Akita Happinets (17-12) 86-78. American forward Marshall Brown (199-85, college: Missouri) nailed 27 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and the former international point guard Yuki Togashi (170-93) accounted for 11 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. American guard Jermaine Dixon (191-87, college: Pittsburgh) came up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds and the other American import forward Dominique Keller (203-88, college: Illinois) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Gunma in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Akita Happinets maintains fifth place with 17-12 record. Newly promoted Gunma keeps the tenth position with 25 games lost. Akita Happinets will have a break next round. Gunma will play again at home against Akita Happinets (#5).
