Regular Season Round 32: Lakehead - Windsor 56-64

The game between closely ranked teams ended with first ranked Lancers' (15-4) road victory over second-ranked Thunderwolves (13-6) 64-56 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Thunderwolves won third quarter 10-7. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lancers forced 23 Thunderwolves turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Enrico Diloreto (185-90) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and the former international forward Lien Phillip (203-89) who added 8 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Naturalized Egyptian forward Yoosrie Salhia (198-87) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 6 blocks and forward Matthew Schmidt (198-89) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Lancers maintains first position with 15-4 record, which they share with Ottawa. Loser Thunderwolves keep the second place with six games lost. Lancers will face Mustangs (#8) in London, ON in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
