There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Chorale de Roanne (9-10) beat at home 8th ranked JDA Dijon (9-10) 63-56 on Saturday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 22-8. But JDA Dijon won second period 13-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Chorale de Roanne made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by JDA Dijon's players. Quite impressive performance for American power forward Coleman Collins (206-86, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds. The former international William Gradit (197-82, college: Hill JC) contributed with 8 points for the winners. American power forward Andre Harris (201-85, college: Fair Dickinson) answered with 14 points and 5 rebounds and center Ferdinand Prenom (205-91) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for JDA Dijon. JDA Dijon's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Chorale de Roanne moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated JDA Dijon. Chorale de Roanne will face Limoges CSP Elite (#11) on the road in the next round.
