Regular Season Round 33: Fukuoka Rizing - Shiga L-Stars 74-82

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 4th placed Fukuoka Rizing (19-12) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Shiga L-Stars (19-12) 82-74. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Fukuoka Rizing won third quarter 16-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Panamanian forward Dionisio Gomez Camargo (203-80, college: Arkansas) nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and guard Bogate Yokoe (176-89) accounted for 17 points and 4 steals. American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida, agency: Top Notch Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and Trinidad and Tobago power forward Julius Ashby (205-82, college: Colorado) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Fukuoka Rizing in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Shiga L-Stars moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Fukuoka Rizing. Shiga L-Stars will have a break next round. Fukuoka Rizing will play again at home against Shiga L-Stars (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
