It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Aris. Aris was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 8-3 charge of Ikaros Kalitheas, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aris to just 3 points in fourth quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Jasmine Erving (187-90, college: CS Northridge) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. The former international guard Theoni Tzegianaki (162-85) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. The former international power forward Evangelia Kotopodi (188-87) replied with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Maria Mpousnaki added 15 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Aris. Ikaros Kalitheas moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Aris and Kronos AD. Ikaros Kalitheas will play against Asteras (#8) in Athens in the next round.
