Date: February 9, 2013
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when tenth ranked Dunkerque (6-10) beat at home 9th ranked Roche (7-8) 77-71 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 18 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 6 points. Strangely Roche outrebounded Dunkerque 44-26 including a 27-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Roche was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Latvian power forward Dace Brumermane (187-81, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds.
